I don’t always believe free offers but I was curious about this one. Especially since Monarch butterflies need all of the help they can get. Milkweed is their food of choice but property development across their migrating routes have made it harder for them to find the food they need.
Enter Live Monarch.com, an organization helping to promote planting milkweed. If you send them a self-addressed, stamped envelope they will send you a few milkweed seeds appropriate to your growing area.

In addition, they include good instructions on how to grow the milkweed plants.
I am going to winter seed in milk jugs, an easy way to get these started before getting them into the garden.
